Producer
Claudia Cragg grew up in England, where her father, Kenneth MacLeod, was a leading TV news anchor. ?I was virtually brought up at the studio,? she remembers. She began her own career at Which? Magazine, ?working for many years at the lowest possible levels to learn from the ?pros? and ?old hands,?? she recalls, ?things you could never learn in a media classroom.? Claudia lived in Hong Kong from 1981-1984, working in radio and TV and reporting for The South China Morning Post (SCMP). In 1984, she became Bureau Chief for SCMP in Japan, meanwhile also producing for Radio Television Hong Kong (part of the BBC).
Since then, Claudia has worked from home, while raising three children. She has a new book due out next year: Iron Butterflies: Asia?s Most Dynamic Businesswomen & Entrepreneurs. She?s a foreign correspondent for the International Herald Tribune, plus editors worldwide. We feel fortunate that Claudia is a KGNU volunteer. Thank you for your tremendous work, Claudia!
